Authorize the (1) acceptance of a grant upon receipt from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for the federal share of the eligible airport program and project for the Dallas Love Field (DAL) Entrance Roadway Intersection Project (Alternate Entry) (Grant No. B-23-CP-TX-1429, Assistance Listing No. 20.106) in the amount of $750,000.00 for the planning and development of DAL Entrance Roadway Intersection Project (Alternate Entry); (2) establishment of appropriations in an amount not to exceed $750,000.00 in the Love Field Airport Alternate Entry Project FY23 EDI-CPF Grant Fund; (3) receipt and deposit of grant funds in an amount not to exceed $750,000.00 in the Love Field Airport Alternate Entry Project FY23 EDI-CPF Grant Fund; and (4) execution of the grant agreement and all terms, conditions, and documents required by the agreement - Not to exceed $750,000.00 - Financing: Love Field Airport Alternate Entry Project FY23 EDI-CPF Grant Fund

BACKGROUND
To meet growing passenger demand and support long-term development, Dallas Love Field Airport launched a comprehensive Master Plan in 2023. This twenty-year roadmap identifies critical infrastructure needs and has led to the creation of the Love Field Expansion Airport Program (LEAP); the most ambitious capital improvement initiative in the airport's history.
Among the projects included in LEAP is the Entrance Roadway Intersection Project, formally titled the Love Field Airport Alternate Entry Project. This project is designed to improve the airport's primary access route from the surrounding roadway network, with a particular focus on Mockingbird Lane.
