BACKGROUND

 

The South Belt Line Road Bridge at Goff Branch is a partnership project between the City of Dallas and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to replace or rehabilitate the existing bridge. This bridge was included in the TxDOT’s currently approved off-state system federal-aid Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program (HBRRP) as authorized by Texas Transportation Commission Minute Order No. 116522, dated August 16th, 2023.

 

This action will authorize an Advance Funding Agreement with TxDOT. The estimated total project cost is $3,186,771.00 for the preliminary engineering, construction engineering, and construction costs. The local government participation amount requirement for federally eligible items of work is waived in full. The City of Dallas will commit to spending City Funds for any non-eligible items of work.

FISCAL INFORMATION
