BACKGROUND

On January 8, 2025, the City Council authorized a construction services contract with Estrada Concrete Company, LLC for the 2025 Street Resurfacing Construction Contract, by Resolution No. 25-0127.

On January 8, 2025, the Davis Garden Tax Increment Financing District Board reviewed and unanimously approved a request by the City's Department of Transportation and Public Works, in an amount not to exceed $1,053,923.59 for the construction of the Rosemont Safe Routes to School Project, including the original scope and two additional street segments immediately adjacent to the Rosemont school campuses (supplemental scope).

The Economic Development Committee was briefed regarding this matter on March 3, 2025.

On April 23, 2025, the City Council authorized Change Order No.1 to the construction services contract with Estrada Concrete Company, LLC for the additional emergency work needed to reconstruct the retaining wall located at 9000-9300 Block of South Audelia Road, by Resolution No. 25-0643.






The scope of this project includes the Rosemont Safe Routes to School Supplemental Scope of Work as requested by the Davis Garden TIF of approximately 1,900 feet of safe pedestrian and bicycle access and connection to Rosemont Elementary School.
