Body
BACKGROUND

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service contract is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.

This Supplemental Agreement will provide for continued ongoing maintenance and support for the daily operations of the court case management system with Tyler Technologies, Inc. This contract will continue to provide accurate and timely processing of court dockets, various payments, court records management, and court and jury notifications. Specifically, it is used by attorneys, judges, and Dallas Marshals to perform daily operations, process and document payments, schedule and conduct court proceedings, document, and update court cases, and send notifications for court appearances for jurors and officers.

On November 10, 2015, the City Council authorized a living wage policy that requires contractors to pay their employees a "living wage" rate as established annually by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Living Wage Calculator for Dallas County by Resolution No. 15-2141. This contract renewal option includes the living wage of $11.15.
