BACKGROUND

On April 23, 2025, by Resolution No. 25-0665, the City Council declared declaring approximately 217,911 square feet of improved land together with approximately 228,322 square feet of building improvements unwanted and unneeded, located near the intersection of North Stemmons Freeway and West Mockingbird Lane, and authorizing its advertisement for sale by public auction or through a real estate brokerage service.

This action will amend Resolution No. 25-0665 to revise Section 6(b) to add a subparagraph (vi) to provide that in the event the City elects to terminate the contract due to a determination that the property is needed for a public purpose, the City shall reimburse Buyer for customary due diligence expenses up to an amount not to exceed $150,000.00 (Including Title Policy and Survey cost expended).
