BACKGROUND
Plaintiffs Kerry Holmes and Zandra Holmes filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on October 8, 2022, involving a Department of Public Works employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Plaintiffs have reached proposed settlements, subject to City Council approval. Plaintiffs are represented by Andrew Leibowitz and Leibowitz Law Group, P.L.L.C.

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on October 4, 2024.
