BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Israel Selgado filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on April 5, 2022, involving a Department of Public Works employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Selgado have reached a proposed settlement of his bodily injury claims, subject to City Council approval. Israel Selgado is represented by Angel Cruz and The Law Offices of Kelly T. Curran.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on October 18, 2024.
