BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Tatanya Jones filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on February 15, 2024, involving a Department of Transportation and Public Works employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Ms. Jones have reached a proposed settlement of her claims, subject to City Council approval. Ms. Jones is represented by Witherite Law Group, PLLC.
