BACKGROUND

 

This item authorizes the acquisition of an unimproved tract of land containing approximately 3.28 acres, from the City of Highland Park.  The property is located on northeast side of the Trinity River at the outside toe of the levee, between Conveyor Lane and Lackawana Street and will be used for the Dallas Floodway Project - Hampton Pump Station. The consideration is based on an independent appraisal. There are no relocation benefits associated with this acquisition.
