BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Max Arturo Alegria, Jr. filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on August 21, 2023, involving a Dallas Police Department officer operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Plaintiff have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by John R. Salazar, P.C.

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on Friday, December 5, 2025.
