BACKGROUND
Plaintiff, Jose Posada, filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on April 2, 2020, involving a Dallas Police Department officer operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Mr. Posada have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Ward Maedgen of Ward Maedgen Accident Attorneys.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on June 21, 2024.
