Authorize a three-year service price agreement for grounds maintenance services for the Dallas Police Department – Abescape Group, LLC in the estimated amount of $185,545.00 and Cerv Property Solutions, LLC in the estimated amount of $124,535.21, lowest responsible bidders of five – Total estimated amount of $310,080.21 – Financing: General Fund (subject to annual appropriations)
*In alignment with Infrastructure Maintenance.

BACKGROUND
This action does not authorize or encumber funding. The service price agreement establishes pre-negotiated pricing and contract terms for a specified period of time. Actual expenditures will occur only when services are requested and are supported by available departmental appropriations. The estimated amount represents the maximum anticipated value based on all potential usage scenarios during the contract term and is provided for planning purposes only. Actual expenditures may vary significantly and will be driven by operational needs. For reference, the City's average annual expenditure for these services over the past three years has been approximately $167,000.00 per year.
This service price agreement will provide for grounds maintenance services for Dallas Police Department. These services will include:
Debris and litter removal
Edging
Leaf clean-up
Mowing
Plant bed maintenance
Tree-pruning services
Trimming of ground cover/shrubs
Additionally, these services will also consist of applying winter rye seed, herbicides, pre-emergent, and fertilizers as needed.
