Authorize a professional services contract with Ardurra Group, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of four local streets, 3000 Marideen Avenue from Tangle Terrace to Burgoyne Street, 3700-3800 Kiest Valley Parkway from Coombs Creek Drive to Kiestridge Drive, 9700 Faircloud from Oak Gate Lane to Checota Drive and 11200 Shans Street from Northaven Road to Whitehall Drive, as part of Project Group 24-3002 (list attached to the Agenda Information Sheet) – Not to exceed $541,172.64 - Financing: Street and Transportation (A) Fund (2024 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($510,750.94), Wastewater Capital Improvement F Fund ($13,662.67), and Water Capital Improvement F Fund ($16,759.03)

BACKGROUND
The Request for Qualifications CIZ24-PBW-3124 was issued on October 9, 2024, for the 2024 Bond Program Capital Improvement Projects. The consulting firm, Ardurra Group, Inc., was selected following the qualifications-based selection process in accordance with the City of Dallas procurement guidelines.
This action will authorize a professional services contract with Ardurra Group, Inc., for the engineering design of four local streets as part of Project Group 24-3002. The street reconstruction projects will include replacing the existing deteriorating concrete streets with reinforced concrete pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway approaches, possible replacement of drainage system, and water and wastewater improvements.
