Authorize a construction services contract for the 2024 Two-Year Term Agreement Slurry Seal and Polymer Modified Micro-Surfacing Contract - Viking Construction LLC, lowest responsible bidder of three - Not to exceed $17,604,618.00 - Financing: General Fund (subject to annual appropriation)

BACKGROUND
This project provides for construction services scheduled for Fiscal Years 2024 and 2025. Bid specifications were developed and publicly advertised on August 2, 2023 and August 9, 2023 for competitive bids associated with the 2024 Two-Year Term Agreement Slurry Seal and Polymer Modified Micro-Surfacing Contract.
This project will consist of slurry seal, polymer modified micro-surfacing, base pavement repairs, joint and crack sealing, underseal, leveling-up course where required, street restoration where required, pavement markings and devices, and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the construction documents. Bid quantities consist of the estimated items for the street projects listed in the 2024 Slurry Seal and Polymer Modified Micro-Surfacing Contract.
This action will authorize a construction services contract with Viking Construction LLC to provide construction services for the 2024 Two-Year Term Agreement Slurry Seal and Polymer Modified Micro-Surfacing Contract.
Viking Construction LLC's corporate headquarters is located in Georgetown, Texas and is a registered vendor with the City of Dallas.
