BACKGROUND

In June 2024, the City of Dallas entered into an Advance Funding Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to accept federal funding from the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program in the amount of $3,000,000.00 for engineering cost to reconstruct the intersection at Harry Hines Boulevard and Mockingbird Lane in the city of Dallas for CSJ 0918-47-484 ("Project"). The City of Dallas is the lead agency implementing the environmental assessment and engineering of the Project.

Children's Health is reconstructing and expanding its main campus at Children's Medical Center Dallas in the Southwestern Medical District. This Project will provide access to the new emergency facility at the medical center and must be completed by the time the facility is operational.
