Body
BACKGROUND
Dallas Executive Airport has identified a need to expand its existing apron by paving the current grass islands. Converting these areas to pavement will increase apron capacity, provide additional aircraft parking, and improve the efficiency of aircraft maneuvering within the apron. In addition, the paved islands will enhance all-weather operational reliability by helping keep the apron, taxiways, and runways fully accessible while providing clear, well-defined routing for aircraft transitioning from the apron to the movement areas.
The ramp expansion improves service vehicle trafficability while improving pilot situational awareness and air operations safety; improves environmental quality and sustainability; and decreases overall operations airport maintenance costs.
Nu-Way Construction, LLC has had no contractual activities with the City of Dallas within the past three years.
