Authorize Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the professional services contract with Nathan D. Maier Consulting Engineers, Inc. to provide additional engineering design services for the repair of Maple Avenue Bridge over Turtle Creek; and Camp Wisdom Road Bridge over Ricketts Creek in Bridge Repair Group 17-0001 (list attached to the Agenda Information Sheet) - Not to exceed $59,075.00, from $197,590.00 to $256,665.00 - Financing: Street and Transportation (A) Fund (2017 General Obligation Bond Fund)

BACKGROUND
On November 14, 2018, City Council authorized a professional services contract with Nathan D. Maier Consulting Engineers, Inc. to provide engineering design services for the repair of four bridges as Bridge Repair Group 17-0001, by Resolution No. 18-1591.
The scope of projects will include, but not be limited to, the repair of retaining walls, wing walls, bridge decks, bridge seals, surface drains on bridge decks, adjacent sidewalks, erosion, and removal of sediment/debris.
This action will authorize Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the professional services contract with Nathan D. Maier Consulting Engineers, Inc. to provide additional engineering design services for the repair of Maple Avenue Bridge over Turtle Creek and Camp Wisdom Road Bridge over Ricketts Creek in Bridge Repair Group 17-0001. The remaining two locations consisting of Marsh Lane Bridge over Furneaux Creek, and Marsalis Avenue Bridge over Dallas Zoo entrance may be amended at a later date(s) as necessary.
