Body
BACKGROUND

Turtle Creek Association (TCA) partners with the City of Dallas to preserve, protect, and enhance the Turtle Creek Corridor. For years, the TCA has committed many hours to the Turtle Creek Corridor through volunteer clean-ups and has donated funding for plant life to the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department. This agreement will allow the TCA to continue their partnership with the City of Dallas to restore and maintain the historic Turtle Creek Bridges along the Turtle Creek Corridor at no cost to the City.

The scope of work for this agreement includes beautification and maintenance of the following six bridges along Turtle Creek Boulevard: Stonebridge Drive, Blackburn Street, Lemmon Avenue East, Fairmount Street, Maple Avenue, and Lemmon Avenue Southbound; and maintenance of three medians along North Fitzhugh Avenue from the Katy Trail to Cole Avenue including mowing, edging/trimming, pruning, fertilizing, and irrigating. Modifications to the bridge on Lemmon Avenue Southbound require written agreement with the Turtle Creek Conservancy through The Bridges of Turtle Creek Project Committee.
