BACKGROUND

The Abrams Road, Greenville Avenue, Jim Miller Road, and Prairie Creek Road Project is a partnership project between the City of Dallas and Dallas County for transportation-related maintenance, repairs, and improvements. The City of Dallas is the lead agency responsible for administering construction of the project. This action will authorize a Project Specific Agreement with Dallas County for the transportation-related maintenance, repair, and improvements of the above-mentioned project to be performed by city contractors.

The total estimated project cost for construction is $3,333,330.00 of which $1,666,665.00 is to be funded by Dallas County, and $1,666,665.00 is to be funded by the City of Dallas.

Begin Construction April 2020
Complete Construction September 2020

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

On December 13, 2017, City Council authorized a Master Interlocal Agreement with Dallas County pertaining to the coordination of responsibilities for transportation-related maintenance on roadways and bridges within the city of Dallas by Resolution No. 17-1892.
