BACKGROUND
Plaintiffs Stephanie Rochelle Whitiker, individually and as next friend of B.M., a minor, filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on February 22, 2022, involving a Dallas Police Department officer operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and plaintiffs have reached a proposed settlement of their claims, subject to the City Council approval. Plaintiffs are represented by Kenny Perez Law.
