BACKGROUND

This service contract will provide for operational management of a gymnastic, cheer and/or tumbling program at the Ridgewood Belcher Recreation Center for the Park & Recreation Department. The Contractor will be tasked with providing quality recreational and competitive level programming for gymnastics to participants of all ages. In addition, this contract will provide an annual estimated revenue of $456,309.15 to the City over an initial three-year period.

A seven-member committee from the following departments reviewed and evaluated the qualifications:

* Budget and Management Services (1)
* Office of Community Care and Empowerment (1)
* Office of Emergency Management and Crisis Response (1)
* Park & Recreation Department (2)
* Office of Procurement Services (2)*

*The Office of Procurement Services evaluated cost, local preference, and the Business Inclusion and Development Plan, if applicable.

The committee selected the successful respondents based on demonstrated competence and qualifications under the following criteria:


* Cost 35 points
* Approach 30 points
* Experience and Qualifications 30 points
* Local Preference 5 points
