BACKGROUND

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service contract is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.

This Supplemental Agreement will provide for continued expansion of services for Phase II of the enterprise work order and asset management system (EWAMS). This supplemental agreement updates tasks in support of security asset management. It also modifies certain tasks to address delays that arose from the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2023 ransomware attack, and associated limitations on the availability of City resources, including personnel and technology needed to complete the project. This supplemental agreement addresses business needs stemming from assumptions in the original task descriptions that must be modified due to previous and ongoing limitations on availability of City resources for EWAMS administration and the development of the external sides of certain EWAMS interfaces that were originally assumed to be the City's responsibility.
