BACKGROUND
Plaintiff, Thomas Meagher, filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on February 6, 2022, involving a Dallas Police Department officer operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Mr. Meagher have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Mick Kennedy and Sommerman, McCaffity, Quesada & Geisler.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on October 18, 2024.
