BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Tijonne Hill filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas (City), seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in a motor vehicle accident on April 22, 2025, involving a Dallas Police Department employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Plaintiff have reached a proposed settlement of her claims, subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Thuy-Hang Thi Nguyen and The Godsey Law Firm, P.C.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on November 6, 2026.
