BACKGROUND
Plaintiffs the City of Corsicana, Navarro County, and Navarro College, the taxing entities in Navarro County, Texas, filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged damages arising from the relocation of a Home Depot distribution center from Corsicana, Texas to the City. The City and Plaintiffs have reached a proposed settlement of Plaintiffs’ claims, subject to City Council approval. Plaintiffs are represented by Terry Jacobson of the Jacobson Law Firm, P.C.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on June 5, 2026.
