BACKGROUND

On February 2, 2026, South Side Quarter Development Corporation ("SSQDC"), a Texas non-profit corporation representing owners of real property located within the District, submitted petitions to the City of Dallas requesting the renewal of the District and approval of the District's service plan ("Petitioned Service Plan") for a new ten-year term effective January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2036, in accordance with the Act.
