Title
Authorize (1) the rejection of the proposals received for the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of network cabling services for the Department of Information and Technology Services; and (2) the re-advertisement for a new solicitation - Financing: No cost consideration to the City

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize the rejection of the proposals received for solicitation BQZ23-00022638 for a five-year service contract for the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of network cabling services for the Department of Information and Technology Services. The Department of Information and Technology Services will re-assess the needs of the City and re-advertise with revised specifications in the near future.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On January 11, 2023, the City Council authorized a two-year cooperative agreement for the purchase of network cabling installing services and equipment for the Department of Information and Technology Services with Shelby Communications, LLC through the Texas Department of Information Resources cooperative agreement by Resolution No. 23-0121.
