BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Kenya Moore filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in a motor vehicle collision on February 19, 2023, involving a Dallas Police Department employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Ms. Moore have reached a proposed settlement of her claims, subject to City Council approval. Ms. Moore is represented by Daryl Washington and the firm Washington Law Firm, P.C.

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on September 19, 2025.
