BACKGROUND

On February 18, 2026, the Southern Gateway Public Green Foundation, a Texas non-profit corporation representing owners of real property located within the District, submitted petitions to the City of Dallas requesting the creation of the District and approval of the District's Service Plan for a ten-year term effective January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2036, in accordance with the Act.
