Title
Authorize (1) an increase in the construction services contract with RoeschCo Construction, LLC for the construction of the Lake Highlands Trail Phase 2A/2B, Northern Extension; and (2) authorize corrections to Administrative Action No. 23-0674, authorized on June 7, 2023; Administrative Action No. 23-1408, authorized on October 11, 2023; and Administrative Action No. 24-0292, authorized on April 24, 2024, to revise the funding to reflect the City (20 percent) and the Texas Department of Transportation (80 percent) portions of the contract - Not to exceed $187,035.94, from $4,931,252.41 to $5,118,288.35 - Financing: Park and Recreation Facilities (B) Fund (2017 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($37,407.19) and Lake Highlands Trail PH2 TASA Program Fund ($149,628.75)

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize Change Order No. 4 in the construction services contract with RoeshCo Construction, LLC, that includes approximately 460 feet of composite fence and one-foot-wide mow strip to provide increased privacy and safety to the residents along Skillman Road, installation of approximately 460 feet of jersey barrier along Skillman Road to provide additional trail user safety, two pedestrian pole foundations and one signal foundation at the Church Road and White Rock Trail Road intersection, additional safety railing between Boardwalk No. 3 and the DART fence and removable bollards before Boardwalk #3 and along Arborside Drive. These changes will result in an increase of $187,035.94, increasing the contract amount from $4,931,252.41 to $5,118,288.35.
The original scope of work included tree plantings to act as a barrier and screen along Skillman Road.
