BACKGROUND

 

Plaintiffs Kristi Walters, Samuel Walters, Christopher Walters, and Ethan Walters, who are the surviving spouse and children of former Dallas Fire-Rescue Officer David Walters, sued for payment of workers’ compensation benefits after the death of David Walters. The City and plaintiffs have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiffs are represented by Lee B. Lesher and the Allen Stewart, P.C. law firm.
