BACKGROUND

 

This item on behalf of the Park & Recreation Department, authorizes the closure and vacation to vehicular traffic of a portion of Brookside Drive, containing approximately 11,177 square feet of land. The area will be included with the adjacent City-owned property to develop a trailhead as part of the Santa Fe Trail Master Plan. The cost for this closure is the minimum processing fee pursuant to the Dallas City Code, therefore, no appraisal is required.

 

Notices were sent to 14 property owners located within 300 feet of the proposed abandonment area. There were no responses received in opposition to this request.
