BACKGROUND

The U.S Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) has three distinct phases of project work that are required in order to complete the Dallas Floodway Project. The City of Dallas has been coordinating with the Corps to assist in their efforts completing Environmental Impact Statements and other approval processes related to the Balanced Vision Plan and Interior Drainage Plans for the Trinity River, as adopted by City Council. The planning, permitting and approval phases for these projects are complete.
