BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Michael Wilson filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in a motor vehicle accident on November 4, 2022, involving a Dallas Police Department employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Mr. Wilson have reached a proposed settlement of his claims, subject to City Council approval. Mr. Wilson is represented by Ryan E. Rogers and Godsey Martin, P.C.

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on May 8, 2026.
