BACKGROUND

 

This item authorizes the acquisition from Ferris 45 Realty LLC., of a tract of land containing approximately 5.61 acres located at 9701 Blanco Drive near its intersection with Logistics Drive in Dallas County. This property will be used for the construction of an elevated water storage tank to improve water pressure and provide adequate fire flow protection for current and future conditions in the Dallas Water Utilities Cedardale High pressure zone. The acquisition provides for the land required to construct the elevated storage tank.

 

The consideration is based on an independent appraisal. There are no relocation benefits associated with this acquisition.
