BACKGROUND
On January 14, 2026. Mark S. Swann submitted his resignation as City Auditor, effective at the close of business on March 17, 2026.
City Council has determined that it is necessary to appoint an Interim City Auditor during the time it takes to select and appoint a new City Auditor.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On April 23, 2025, the City Council voted to reappoint Mark S. Swann as City Auditor for the City of Dallas by Resolution No. 25-0668.
