BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Bettina Harris filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in a motor vehicle accident on March 8, 2024, involving a Dallas Water Utilities Department employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Plaintiff have reached a proposed settlement of her claims, subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Patrick R. Watson and Best, Watson & Gilbert, P.C.
