Authorize a three-year service contract for the hosting, support, and maintenance of a restaurant inspection solution for the Department of Code Compliance - HS GovTech USA Inc. - sole source - Not to exceed $201,357.18 - Financing: General Fund (subject to annual appropriations)

BACKGROUND
This Sole Source agreement will provide continued hosting, support and maintenance, and warranty of the restaurant inspection solution. This system provides efficiencies in work processes to include the remote inspection process, including the ability to make applications online and pay all required fees via the customer facing portal. Additionally, customers will have the ability to manage their business accounts online. Improvements in the financial management of customer business accounts include providing customers with the ability to review and paying invoices online, accessing business documents to include viewing and printing inspection records. The system also allows the full inspection report to be published online to the public.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On December 9, 2020, the City Council authorized a five-year contract for implementation, hosting, maintenance, and support of a restaurant inspection solution with HealthSpace USA, Inc. by Resolution No. 20-1906.
