BACKGROUND

This sole source agreement will provide the services, support, and licensing needed to maintain the Primary 9-1-1 system as well as the offsite backup system. The contract will provide extensions of the support and maintenance of the 9-1-1 Recording System and the reporting application. Additionally, the contract provides 2 dedicated on site technicians from AT&T available to respond to trouble tickets and incidents 24 x 7x 365.

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

On October 25, 2017, the City Council authorized a five-year service contract, with three one-year renewal options, for maintenance of the 911 telephone system infrastructure with SBC Global Services, Inc. d/b/a AT&T Global Services, by Resolution No. 17-1666.
