BACKGROUND

 

In April 2025, the Department of Aviation (“AVI”) solicited qualified parties who had previously expressed interest in the restaurant space at Dallas Executive Airport (“Airport”) to present their concepts and proposed lease terms in order to identify a new operator. AVI received three presentations, and following evaluations of each, JetRail LLC (“Jet Rail”) was deemed to be the most advantageous operator to lease and operate the restaurant.

 

This agenda item is for authorization to enter into a new five-year lease agreement with one five-year renewal option with Jet Rail to lease and operate a full-service restaurant in the existing restaurant space in the terminal building at the Airport. Jet Rail will commit to investing a minimum of $17,000.00 in initial capital improvements which will include new equipment, furniture, and fixtures to establish and operate the restaurant.
