BACKGROUND

This extension to the master agreement will allow for continued purchase of neighborhood air quality sensor equipment for the Office of Environmental Quality and Sustainability. Non-regulatory air quality monitoring sensors support the implementation of the City's neighborhood air quality monitoring program. This master agreement will allow for the continued purchase of:

* Non-regulatory air quality monitoring sensor equipment
* Meteorological stations
* Ancillary equipment

This equipment is used to provide local air quality data collection to support transportation, industrial and construction compliance; green space planning and expansion; and other initiatives aimed at improving public health outcomes in Dallas.

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

On April 13, 2022, the City Council authorized a three-year master agreement for the purchase of neighborhood air quality sensor equipment for the Office of Environmental Quality and Sustainability with Ambilabs, LLC and Wilbur Technical Services, LLC by Resolution No. 22-0568.
