BACKGROUND
This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service price agreement is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.
Southern Skates Roller Rink is a City owned facility that has been serving the Dallas community for over 10 years. Southern Skates Roller Rink offers multiple open skate times as well as opportunities to plan birthday parties and private events.
This service price agreement will be primarily used to provide disc jockey (DJ) services and event management for birthday parties, special themed events and private gatherings. In addition, the contractor will serve as the master of ceremonies to announce special activities and safety rules.
The scope of work for this service shall include the provision of a qualified DJ equipped with appropriate soundboards and mixing equipment to interface with the audio and video projection system at the Southern Skates Roller Rink. The awarded contractor will be tasked with creating a positive experience for customers that range from advanced to beginner skaters.

On May 20, 2021, the Park and Recreation Board authorized a three-year service price agreement with Alinea Strategies and Partnerships Inc.
