BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Evelyn McKeller filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained on August 9, 2019, when she tripped and fell into an uncovered meter box at or near 1920 Elm Street in Dallas, Texas. The City and Ms. McKeller have reached a proposed settlement of her claims, subject to City Council approval. Ms. McKeller is represented by Iesha Wells and the Kelley Law Firm.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on January 17, 2025.
