BACKGROUND

On June 11, 2025, by Resolution No. 25-0917, the City Council declared approximately 14.257 acres of improved land together with approximately 121,826 square feet of building improvements unwanted and unneeded located near the intersection of South Hampton Road and Perryton Drive, and authorizing its advertisement for sale by public auction or through a real estate brokerage service.

This action will amend Resolution No. 25-0917 to revise Section 6(b) to add a subparagraph (vi) to provide that in the event the City elects to terminate the contract due to a determination that the property is needed for a public purpose, the City shall reimburse Buyer for customary due diligence expenses up to an amount not to exceed $250,000.00 (Including Title Policy and Survey cost expended).
