BACKGROUND
On April 16, 2025, City Council evaluated the performance of City Auditor Mark S. Swann with the assistance of a consultant who facilitated the executive review process.

On April 16, 2025, the City Council deliberated in a closed session regarding this item.
On April 23, 2025, the City Council voted to reappoint Mark S. Swann as City Auditor for the City of Dallas by Resolution No. 25-0668.
On April 23, 2025, the City Council voted to hold this item under advisement until May 14, 2025, with the instruction that the item be re-posted to include consideration of a retention incentive.
