BACKGROUND
This item, on behalf of the Office of Economic Development, authorizes the closure and vacation to vehicular traffic of a portion of Austin Street, containing approximately 16,000 square feet of land. The area will be utilized to construct a public plaza in support of the West End Lofts Project.
Notices were sent to 16 property owners located within 300 feet of the proposed closure and vacation area. There were no responses received in opposition to this request.
