BACKGROUND

Since 1967, the City of Dallas has worked with TCEQ and its predecessor agencies to support clean air monitoring through renewing contracts for services. Currently, there are two contracts under which TCEQ funds the City's Ambient Air Monitoring Group to monitor local air quality and purchase and maintain necessary equipment.

This action addresses Contract No. 582-27-00029 City of Dallas PM2.5.

The City of Dallas Office of Environmental Quality & Sustainability has operated and maintained air monitoring stations in Dallas County and a Continuous Air Monitoring Station (CAMS) site in Rockwall County that monitors ozone and meteorological conditions.
