BACKGROUND
The City of Dallas, as owner and operator of the Dallas Airport System (DAS), owns and maintains the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for its tenants. The Dallas Love Field (DAL) tenants made a request to the Department of Aviation to replace existing air conditioning units. The continued maintenance of the existing equipment has become inefficient, and it has become more cost-effective to replace the existing units. This purchase of twelve units will be the final round of unit replacements.
The Northern Air Systems, Inc.'s (Northern Air) Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) unit has been designed to meet the specific performance and redundancy needs of DAL's tenants while incorporating multiple Northern Air technologies such as Proprietary Minimized Defrost Cycle and a Bridge Pre-Cool Quick Switch.
These technologies and designs make the Northern Air unit a feasible solution for providing DAS and its DAL tenants and passengers the most enjoyable traveling experience. These added functionalities/features are unique to Northern Air and they are an original equipment manufacturer who sells direct to customers or end users. These items are only available from Northern Air Systems, Inc. and not through any distribution or reseller network.
