Title
An ordinance amending correcting Chapter 12A, “Code of Ethics,” of the Dallas City Code by (1) correcting Sections 12A-12 and 12A-26 amending the word “or” to the correct location in Section 12A-12(d)(4); and (2) removing the words “or employee” from Section 12A-26(a) that applies only to former city councilmembers or former board and commission members; (2) providing a saving clause; (3) providing a severability clause; and (4) providing an effective date - Financing: No cost consideration to the City

This ordinance corrects oversights made in the drafting of previous ordinances amending Chapter 12A.

On January 29, 2025, the Ethics Advisory Commission recommended approval of this item.
