BACKGROUND
This extension to the master agreement will allow for continued interior landscaping services and new or replacement interior plant purchases for City Hall, Love Field, and other City facilities. This agreement will be used for the maintenance and purchase of interior plants such as low-light plants, flowering plants, potted orchids, or containers filled with a variety of plants and flowers.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On April 14, 2021, the City Council authorized a five-year service price agreement for interior landscape maintenance and the purchase of replacement plants for citywide use with Urban Environments, LLC dba Urban Jungles by Resolution No. 21-0626.
FISCAL INFORMATION
This action has no cost consideration to the City. This no-cost extension will extend the contract term only and will not increase the contract amount. The extension is necessary to allow continued services while a new agreement is finalized, as the contract has exhausted its allowable six-month extension.
